The educational institutes are divided into Universities, Institutes of technology and polytechnics (ITPs) and Private Training Establishments (PTEs). The government organizations New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) and New Zealand Vice-Chancellor's Committee (NZVCC) makes sure the quality of education to be high in Universities, ITPs and PTEs. Test Requirements

New Zealand universities only require the test of English language proficiency. Hence appearing in IELTS/TOEFL is recommended.


Most of the universities accept IELTS but some also accept TOEFL. Some universities also insist on GMAT for their MBA programs.


Eligibility

Undergraduate/ Bachelors level:

  • A good academic record in High School.
  • IELTS : Minimum of 6.0

Post-Graduate level:

  • A good academic record in Bachelors Degree
  • Any work experience in the same domain as the course will be an advantage.
  • Most of the universities mandate work experience for MBA programs.
  • IELTS : Minimum 6.5

  • 3 Recommendation letter from (Professors) duly attested in sealed covers
  • Statement of purpose
  • TOEFL/ IELTS/SAT

For Masters:

  • Marks Sheet of Secondary, Higher Secondary
  • Degree Certificate attested
  • Transcripts
  • 3 Recommendation letter from (Professors) duly attested in sealed covers
  • Statement of purpose
  • TOEFL/ IELTS/SAT
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Synopsis of Project
